Since 2022, the Blaine Halvorson Memorial has chosen to honor the selflessness and gratitude displayed by Blaine Halvorson.

Our Mission

Blaine Halvorson Memorial was organized as a non-profit after Blaine’s death in September 2021. Blaine, 27, was a GySgt in the United States Marine Corps.

Blaine Halvorson Memorial provides monetary donations to veterans in crisis, veterans charities and other veteran and military organizations.

Our governing board consists of six (6) non-paid members who reside in Minnesota, Iowa and Virginia. We coordinate volunteer fundraising events to raise funds to help support United States veterans and active duty military.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Scholarship to Kasson/Mantorville High School student

  • Grants to veterans in need

  • Fundraising and placing of wreaths for “Wreaths for Veterans” in Dodge County, Minnesota

  • Volunteering with Adopt-A-Highway of MNDOT
